Among the most famous, luxurious, and desired car brands out there, sure enough, Jaguar is one we cannot miss to list. That’s how famous and special this brand really is. And as for the brand ambassador thing, well, in the case of Jaguar, we can’t just tell you one single name, and that’s just because there are many who represent this brand. Over the years, you must have seen or heard a lot from this brand, and that can also be attributed to some of the famous faces that represent them, though, if you don’t know anything about that yet, just keep on reading.

Jaguar

Notable or Regional Brand Ambassador Of Jaguar

Jaguar has interacted with famous people from different areas in the last few years.

  • The Chinese (2014) decision of Jaguar was implying David Beckham as their brand ambassador to carry the brand in ads and promotions in that country.
  • By the same year, in Japan, they made a top tennis player, Kei Nishikori, their ambassador in that country.
  • Andy Murray was the face that Jaguar used to advertise its Wimbledon partnership when they promoted it through campaigns (2015-17).
  • The year 2017 was when Milos Raonic was made a global tennis ambassador. As he was seen carrying the Jaguar logos during Wimbledon, he helped extend the brand’s reach in tennis all over the world.
  • The second time in the UK (2018), Kyle Edmund was made the ambassador of Jaguar in the UK before Wimbledon.

Such were local or event-related positions and, therefore, not always long-term or worldwide.

Campaign Faces vs. Formal Ambassadors

Besides, Jaguar has been known to cast celebs from the acting or modeling world for brief ad campaigns. As an example, they have utilised the services of actors like Sir Ben Kingsley or Tom Hiddleston for a Super Bowl ad in the US, or the singer Lana Del Rey for the release of the F‑TYPE, etc. These individuals were not ambassadors in the traditional sense. They were simply faces for one ad or a short campaign.

How Land Rover Fits In (But It’s Separate)

Although Jaguar and Land Rover share the same parent company, the two brands have different approaches when it comes to ambassador relations. Land Rover, for instance, went the natural route and signed up Bear Grylls as a global ambassador. That doesn’t have any impact on Jaguar, though. All in all, they choose different people to be their brand ambassadors depending on the location and the campaign.
