Nike has to be the biggest sports and fashion gear brand out there, and not just in one specific nation; that’s the case in the entire world. And talking about their brand ambassador, well, there is not a single name we can refer to, after all, they have so many famous faces representing them right now. Let’s have a talk about that.
Historical Brand Ambassadors
Nike’s association with brand ambassadors began with those individuals who changed the entire company’s future. In 1984, Michael Jordan became part of Nike, and with him, they designed the Air Jordan shoes, which not only in the world of sports but also in the history of fashion, technology, and design became the most significant icon of the sneaker culture. In addition to these two legends, the name of Tiger Woods comes to mind, with whom Nike signed a 27-year deal that ended in 2024.
Other past legendary brand ambassadors are Serena Williams, who signed with Nike in 2004, LeBron James, who got his lifetime deal in 2015, and Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been the face of the brand for more than 20 years, being paid $24 million every year.
